So, I have great news to share! I mentioned in an earlier blog entry that I did finally get a car...woo hoo! I cannot tell you how humbling it was to go without a car for so long...and yet so necessary to "teach me a lesson"...and it did!
I also mentioned that I was trying to buy a house and then backed out when I realized the huge potential legal issues I would have with buying it with another person to whom I am not married. So, it sucked but I just felt like it would be just one more terrible decision of mine and actually listened to my spidey senses...for a change. ;)
Well, i started the whole search for a place to live all over again. I was actually contacted by the same owner of the house, who didn't know it was me when he answered my ad looking for a place to live. I wrote him back to let him know and we both found it funny. We actually exchanged some stories about his happenings with trying to sell the house, some big changes I am trying to make, etc., etc. I ended up asking him if he would consider renting the house to me while trying to sell it...and then HE came back with an offer to do either that or sell it to me by myself. What?!? I was excited and shocked at the same time...lol.
So, in a nutshell, I am buying the house and signing the papers on June 1st! Wow.... When I sit and reflect on every discussion and event that has happened to me, with me, etc. over the last couple of months, I realize that Karma may be late just like I always am but also like me, she is well worth the wait when she does finally come around! It all happens for a reason, and I deserve it! ;)
So, I just wanted to share the news!!
