Easter, that is??? I mean...it was just another day for me...no disrespect as I DO know the relevance of the day and was thankful if I was supposed to be...but the church near my house was PACKED...they were even parking down my street! What is with those CERTAIN days that everyone rushes out to go to church but then wait for that same time next year before doing so again?? Easter, Christmas, Christmas Eve, etc....is it out of guilt? Or perhaps it's just to honor that special day for themselves and to do so with the company of friends, family, loved ones, the local "posers", etc.?? Regardless, it doesn't matter, but my street was packed...was funny...it wasn't as if it "bothered" me or "blocked" my non-existent car! ;) It was just an observation.
So, I did want to dye a few eggs and hide them in the yard for the dogs to find, but my roommate said he wouldn't stay in the house that night! LOL....no LTM!! ;) And, we do have a very special friend in common, so I wanted to make her an Easter basket but it would be more fun for her if it contained a six pack of beer, some cigs, some...uhhh...other fun stuff! And toilet paper! Yes, I said (wrote) toilet paper as she uses SO much of our toilet paper....what does she do in there as she doesn't live here or even hang out a whole, whole lot?? ;) So, I asked her...and she was embarrassed....so I asked her again! ;)
So, I am available all day today and am in North Central Austin. I have one more week for these INSANE specials that seemed like a good idea at the time...ctm...so take advantage of them while you can! And I will take advantage of YOU!! I triple dog dare ya!!
Hmmm, oh yes, I am planning my first place to visit. And, on that note, THANK YOU so much for all of the blog comments, emails, PMs, IMs, etc. with words of encouragment and support. I have had people contact me that I have never even met but they read this little blog unbeknownst to me and have contributed! I feel so very special...and must admit that I have wondered why so many people want me to go away...JUST KIDDING! I do thank you, though, and it makes me feel good as those (well, my one "rock") who SHOULD care could give a rat's ass, so this helps!
I still need to get a vehicle so will take off next month to a couple of places that I can either drive to (roommate is going to tag along for the ride) or fly to....yes, I have wings that I can get out and dust off for just this sort of thing! ;)
So, it has been suggested that I consider Sante Fe, NM, Denver, CO, Las Vegas, NV, and anywhere in the "middle" of the U.S. (thanks, Johnny Knoxville....btw, can I come hang out with you and the guys from Jackass?? I can be gross?!!!) ;)
Any other suggestions? I am wanting to go back home for Jazz Festival as I have never been and have always wanted to go! I need to check on those dates asap! If any of you want me to visit you in your area, hell, let me know, k?? I'm going to send a request out to my mailing list subscribers as some of them have been waiting to see me again while others just want to meet me. Poor things....they have NO idea..don't they know to be careful of what you ask for?? ;)
