So, they say it takes thirty days to form a habit...and hopefully 30 to break some, too...or on a good start anyway, I hope. So, I've been struggling with many issues for far too long and am going to form some new habits, which will drop some bad ones, too, along the way.
So, let's start small:
1) I will do some form of exercise at least once a day for the next 30 days. I am also starting the Wu-Yi tea thing that I "just had to have" about a year ago. Since it is now 6pm, I will begin tomorrow with that but will do some form of exercise still today...and sex doesn't count! ;)
2) I will walk my dogs at least twice a day for the next 30 days. (may be a form of exercise, too, initially, but hey!)
3) I will begin the ancient tradition way of preparing for my future by doing what some like to refer to as "saving money". I have spent so much money (unbelievable if I were to actually write it down) on BAD HABITS so am now going to take 1/2 of each donation that I receive for my time and secure it (means give to someone that I trust to hold for me or something along those lines) until I buck up and get that damn down payment for another car, pay bills, buy food, etc. (ya know...what MOST healthy people do).
4) And, in order to keep my goals realistic, I will include the biggest one of all: I will NOT (insert bad habit here) at this moment...then in the next hour...then at all today....!! (after 30 days, will I break this habit??) I can answer my own question, it's a damn good way to start!
Wish me luck,
Sarah
