Wow, I don't know where to start and really don't need to go into all of the details but just know that someone...a total stranger, in fact....made such a huge, positive impact on me yesterday.  I don't really care to go into the details of exactly what the gesture was, but it was something that I have never experienced before and feel lucky to have experienced even once.  On the outside looking in, it would have appeared to be just a "stranger" acting as a "guardian angel" to save my ass once again from something that I got myself into...whether by choice or not.  However, although the gesture was of such kindness and generosity that I have ever witnessed and/or experienced, it was very real, and  I believe happened to me for more than just to "save my ass" but more so to help me understand a few things about myself, life, decisions made and the consequences they can have on not only myself but others, etc.  I feel thankful that I realize this now instead of just accepting it as a temporary "fix" to a temporary problem.  Instead, I have been reminded of the goodness in people and that not everyone is "out to hurt me"....and how I CAN and DO control those people who have been allowed into my life, thus NOT a victim. And, I used to be THE BEST VICTIM....let me tell you what, there were REGULAR and FREQUENT "Pity Parties of One" and NOONE else had problems such as mine.  Thankfully, that has changed over the years, and I have realized that I am NOT a victim as I make the choices, whether I realize it or not, that eventually lead to these consequences.  Okay, I'm rambling...I guess I just want to share my experience with this person and share the impact that their gesture had on my life, whether they ever realize it or not.  It was very self-revealing and a huge reality check.  I was blessed and do intend to use this gesture and impact in the most positive way possible and learn to change some things in my life and be thankful for the good things in lfe, and with people, etc.  I wish that everyone could have experienced what I did as it was truly AMAZING, and I hope to become a better person because of it!
